The Slate is all about community, and helping non-profits pivot during this unique time is one of our favorite things to do. We were honored to be part of the production of the Genesis Women’s Shelter Annual Luncheon. Bringing in thought leaders to fight domestic abuse was not only inspiring, but it was educational. Listening to Nicole Kidman Zoom in from Australia for a conversation with Jan Langbein, the CEO of Genesis Women’s Shelter, was inspiring to witness.

This was a highly customizable video production, shot over several days to be edited and published as if it were live! This allows for less stress, and the highest quality. The multi-day shoot with our production team was spent recording testimonials from Genesis supporters and advocates, as well as Jan Langbein herself. We pulled in green screens, colored backgrounds, professional lighting, and made mini-studios within our studio to maximize space and time. A physical set complete with elaborate lighting made for a perfect backdrop for Jan Langbein and Nicole Kidman to kick off the luncheon.

As part of The Slate Virtual Event Management, we created opening and closing animations, graphics, green screen visuals, voice over, and transitions. We helped with set design, lighting design, and music. The Slate fully managed all video editing, and ensured a smooth shoot day by creating a run of show and handling all technology logistics. To round it out, we will always launch your virtual event for you on your platform of choice.

The leadership and mission within this organization is fabulous, and we were honored to be a part of this production. If you want to check out a recap of the luncheon, the link is below!
